This piece was an easy piece for the lady pianists, accorind to Schumann who put down both his own composition as well as reflecting the prejudial attitude towards women, dispite the fact that his wife Clara was considered on equal rank as Liszt as a concert pianinst! What I find most sickening about this is the look on his face - he is utterly pleased with himself and his gross distortion of this beautiful creation. Chopin would be appalled. But this pianist doesn't give a crap about any of that.

I think his arrangement even trumps the original ochestral part. With Katsaris the orchestra becomes redundant.

The volume on this upload is way too low. I have this concert on CD and DVD, and on both the volume is at a normal level. Katsaris is one of the great Chopin performers.
